Looking back ....

Been looking back to what's past during some time..

SL-friends that have passed on out in RL is one thing I've been thinking about.

One of those is Blanche Argus, who was forced in to RL fulltime due to her health.

In  2011 she made in inteview with me (in Swedish) that can be read below:

Evolution of an avatar

This photo shows my history of avatars and looks.

In January 2007 CuDobh Soderberg was born in Second Life (top left photo). I was at the time bound to silence because of laryngitis and got in to Second Life when the need for real time communication got too big.

Many odd reasons led up to the ending of mr Soderberg and my current persona came to be: Erestor Streeter. As you can guess I spent many hours in Elven sims. It was there I met my oldest SL-friend and later even the best land lady I ever had in any life.

Bottom left photo shows the first look I made from scratch in February 2007.  The small photos on the right side is how my looks changed over the coming years, cannot really tell att which points the changes was made..

Slowly I slided more to "worldly" look and the big photo is how I look today, more or less.

Soon to go down Memory Lane...

After many many years on our island we have decided to move out and go back to the nomadic style of life we had 7 years ago...

I won't fill thie post with words but let this picture speak..

Looking back....

Seven years,,,,, Time flies by in a horrendous speed it seems....

It was in march/april 2007 and was no more than 2-3 months old in Second Life when a girl in black clothes came floating in over the waters where I dwelt at the time. We came to speak and before I knew it we had a relationship going on...

Just married, June 2007

In june the same year we were joined in a wedding ceremony.

The house where we lived our first time... 

Since 2008 we live in a house on our own island and still do..

Even if Real Life is demanding more time now we meet in Second Life or on other platforms in the "cloud".

Summer's end, not yet but near....

Not yet but soon summer is coming towards the change for autumn (or fall as the Americans would say)....

Light is still with us in RL and soon the season will allow more frequent visits to Second Life.....










Let us hope for more warm days and not too cool evenings out in RL, and for warm and happy moments in Second Life or maybe another digital realm.

Visit to new worlds....

I, Erestor, have been to InWorldz, Open Grid, 3rd Rock and Avination before from time to time when there is no chances of seeing my sweet Gwenny in Second Life.

The other day we both made a jump in to InWorldz and met my dear friend Mera there for a chat and dance....

The most important thing was that Gwenny and I met again after having been parted by Real Life (c) for many, many weeks.

Being able to dance again was only one the joys we shared that evening, but the only one caught on camera ;)

A way to help the Japanese after the tsunami/earth quake

In the rising sun of our island I stand holding a bear that is sold to donate money to the US Red Cross to help the aid the victims of the earth quake and tsunami in Japan.

Get one yourself at the Second Life marketplace, many varieties available.

This is just one of many ways to help out, donating or in other ways. The people struck by this disaster are in my thoughts....

Dance in the barn...

At the Swedish hosted "Måndagsbörsen"-club the theme for last Monday was best in cowboy.
I took the offered stage coach and went to the party. Later my love joined me.

Breakers of statistics?

The average life span for a relationship (including partnerships, "marriages") in Second Life is three months I was told.

Gwenny and I have been partnered since June, 2007 and a couple since May the same year. This makes us maybe to something unique in "SL".

Nevertheless we hang in there for better and for worse, in sickness and in health....

Remember the old days...

On this picture you see me in my very first Second Life appearance, CuDobh Soderberg.
 With me sits Elfheart Muni, a dear friend from the very first time I met her during the winter of 2007, my first time in Second Life all in all.

Now mr. Soderberg is no more, gone to meet his maker since long time, and Elfheart is spending very much time in "Real Life" with her husband. They met in "SL" and then it just went down the path they still are following.

Me for my part got a lovely partner and life-companion in Gwennyfair, as you can see from the posts if this blog....

This ends today's stroll along memory lane.

Memories of an old house

This house was the very first I got for my own. A rented dwelling built and owned by my dear friend Cracker Taggart.

Cracker designed and built the house especially for me and furthermore also for my sweet Gwennyfair.

Since this spring it is no more and it is with a sad smile I look back at the time we spent in and around that house.
